Season 5, Episode 1
Sandy Phillips Kirkham is the author of Let me Prey Upon you. The book is her account of how a charismatic youth minister preyed upon her. A betrayal which left her broken, with a shattered faith, and the ultimate shame of being blamed and forced from the church she loved. Sandy is now an advocate for victims of clerical abuse. She is on the board for the Council Against Child Abuse, has spoken before the Ohio Senate, a Maryland court, and appeared on a local television show in Boston.
This is easily one of the more heavy interviews I’ve ever done. Sandy astounded me with how openly and honestly she spoke of experiences.
Thanks once again to Sandy Kirkham for coming onto the show and sharing her story.
