Season 4, Episode 7
My guest today is fellow podcaster and book reviewer/influencer Laura Miller. Laura hosts Library Laura podcast. Her show is where she interviews authors, fellow book lovers and more and then swap book recommendations. I was actually on her podcast almost a year ago. She bowled me over with just how many different books she has read. Plus, it’s impressive just how well she can place a book with her guests!
Laura and I talk about her love of podcasting. However, soon it will be interrupted by a fairly big life changing event, but I’ll let her tell you why! We also speak about how her family loved reading so much that her parents would read to her at night as a child. This continued well up until she was going to college, and is something they restarted during lockdown as a way to stay together. We have an interesting discussion about books having content warnings, and the merits of books warning their readers of potential triggering topics.
Thanks again to Laura Miller, and another congratulations to her and her soon to be growing family! If you’re interested in listening more to Laura, be sure to check out her podcast Library Laura, which you can find anywhere you listen to THIS podcast!
