Writing for a dare with Keith A Pearson

9th August 2021 by Conor

Season 4, Episode 6

My guest today is Keith A Pearson, author of the 86 fix, the Clement series, and his new book coming out soon, Waiting in the Sky.

Keith and I talk about his childhood, where he grew up “Piss poor” (His words). He tells me of the difficulties his mother in particular had when they lost his older sister as a baby, before he was born, and we discuss the effect that had on the family as he grew up. We also talk about his books, of course, and how he grew from a one book writer in 2016, to a full time author in just five years. Keith’s first book was actually written as part of a dare, and dammit I wish someone would dare me like that!

I learned a lot from talking to Keith, and I hope you do too.

Thanks so much to Keith A Pearson for coming on the show. If you want to check out Keith’s books then you can head over to his website here, or check out the links below. Be sure to follow Keith on twitter as well!
