Season 4, Episode 8
Ginny Myers Sain is the author of the up and coming Dark and Shallow Lies.
In this chilling supernatural thriller a teen girl disappears from La Cachette, a tiny town deep in the Louisiana bayou, nicknamed the Psychic Capital of the World. Her best friend Grey returns to find answers and it seems like everyone has something to hide, which begs the question – how do you keep a secret in a town full of psychics?
I speak with Ginny about how she grew up in a house of authors, poets, and academics, and why she pursued the life of a stage actor first. We talk about the magic of the stage, what it can entail, and what teaching theatre is like. Ginny also shares the story of how she got picked up by Penguin Random House for publication.
Anyway, that’s enough rambling from me, let’s hear from Ginny Myers Sain!
