Season 4, Episode 5
If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll remember Dixon Reuel from Season 2 Episode 10, the episode called “How to plan a series”. This is the first time I’ve had a guest return to the show for an interview and I’m delighted Eve agreed to come back and chat. This, as you’ll hear, is a much more relaxed chat about books and one’s career as an indie author, and so much more. We talk about her wedding, writing a second book, how to manage one’s time, and how important it is to take oneself seriously as an author if you wish to make it.
A heads up, this is a very different interview to my normal shows.
Usually, I have many in depth questions prepared, I’ll ask them, and I end up in a really structured but interesting conversation with my guest about themselves. This ends up at a 70/30 split. This time, seeing as Eve is a returning guest and a good friend, I thought we’d just have a conversation that is much more 50/50. I’m thinking I might do one of this style of episodes once a season, a sort of “What’s the story since?” type of episode! Who knows! Let me know if you like it!
Thanks again to my aul buddy Eve, aka Dixon Reuel for agreeing to come on the show once again. You should really check out Eve’s amazing Blood Brute series! I’ve just finished reading Finding Home, one of Eve’s free short story prequels to the first book Rise of One, and I absolutely loved it! Cannot wait to get started on Rise of One and it’s sequel, which is OUT NOW, Fall of Two! Check out Eve on her website, give her a follow on Instagram or Twitter, and of course, check out links to the books below!
