When I say I was excited and nervous for this interview, that doesn’t even begin to explain how I felt.
Dennis E Taylor is the author of science-fiction books Outland, The Singularity Trap and of course The Bobiverse Saga. He’s a two times New York Times Bestselling author, as well as winning the Audible Science-fiction Book of the Year in 2016.
Dennis and I spoke about his first career in computer programming, and how he got started at a time when “you got a job if you knew which way on a keyboard was up!” He goes on to tell me that after giving up on a book that wasn’t exactly top quality he declared “I got do better!” and do better he did! We also talked about the release and the massive success of his second novel We are Legion, which was so succesful, Dennis went on to quite his full time job. We also talk a bit about philosophy, the afterlife, snowboarding, and his research process. This was one of my favourite interviews so far, and I think you can hear me absolutely geek out over getting to speak to Dennis! Enjoy below!
