Season 1, Episode 9
Chris Hooley is an author and one of the hosts of The Writing Community Chat Show. He was very good to agree to come on the show back when I had no guests, no fans and no idea of what I was doing!
Chris and I talk a lot about two major topics. First we speak about how much reading can affect someone’s life. Chris and I are both teachers, so we know the effect it has on children. He also speaks about how getting into reading later in life made him think about becoming a teacher. Chris also speaks very openly about how he decided to turn his life around at a very low point, in a very honest and compelling story. It was after this moment he began to write Death, Just Grinn and Bare it. I think everyone will get something from this interview. Listen here:
Thanks once again to Chris Hooley for coming onto the podcast. (He’s also known as Right Chris as he sits to the right of Chris Aggett, his co-host on the Writing Community Chat Show!) If you would like to check out Chris’ book or podcast, click the links below!
If you enjoyed the show please consider leaving a review on Apple Podcasts or on Podchaser.com! Reviews are the LIFEBLOOD of podcasts and really help keep it going, get discovered by new listeners, and, if I’m honest, stop us from deciding to quit when it feels like too much work!
Finally, if you’d like to check out the amazing extras that Patrons get, head over to Patreon, where you can get free chapters of my upcoming audiobook! Podcasting does cost money in terms of website maintainence, hosting fees, and more, so any little bit you can help with would be great!
