Season 4, Episode 4

The guest of this episode is one of the more inspiring authors I’ve had on the show. Bill Johnson published his book Snow Blind. In his book, he tells the story of how became permently blind after a random shooting in 1991.
Bill was a fascinating guest to have on the show. We talk about his early childhood and how his sister and he were never left wanting for anything. Then we chat about the respect he had for his hard working parents growing up. We talk in depth about the tragic and random attack on Bill that permanently blinded him, and killed two others. We speak about his attitude to his acquired disability, and the things he found surprisingly difficult. Bill goes on to talk about how, a mere 7 months after the attack, he went skiing. Inspirational and impressive are just two of many words I’d use to describe him.
Thanks once again to Bill Johnson for coming onto the show! It was great to get to know him and his inspirational life story!
